With LS TOUCH, we have further developed the operation of KNX systems. Conceived as a smart room controller, LS TOUCH enables the operation of all electrical loads within a room while simultaneously reducing the required number of control units.
How does this Product demonstrate the diversity/flexibility of KNX?
LS TOUCH covers up to 32 KNX functions per device. The thought behind the development of the smart room controller was to extend the classic KNX operation functionally and to bring it all into one device. Up to eight weekly timers allow users to control different functions at different times (e.g. in the evening, the lighting in the living room has the focus).
How does this Product add value and ease of use for building owners/occupiers?
Users can change the times themselves, change favourites and adapt the menu: grid size, number of pages and layout can be adapted individually by the user. The functions parameterised using ETS are reached by users by swiping on the display.
As is familiar from the smartphone, you can move in this way through the menus and call the desired functions. Swipe movements are possible in all directions and the content of the menus is completely individual. The installation height is 140 centimetres. Push-buttons, switches or window contacts: floating contacts can be connected to the binary input. The information thus obtained can trigger warning or alarm signals.

LS TOUCH combines simple, intuitive operation of KNX functions with visualisation of the system. Instead of multiple, individual push-buttons, you just need one control unit per room. The digital room controller is based on clear and easily understood symbols; the operation philosophy is reminiscent of the operation of modern smartphones: the functions are called by swiping on the display. Swipe movements are possible in all directions and the content of the menus is completely individual.
Thanks to the extended functions, the display works independently and can do without a server to a certain functional extent. A touch device with high quality glass display that allows the user to centrally control the room, switching + dimming the lights, moving blinds or controlling temperature. Everything can be controlled individually or combined in one scene. LS TOUCH combines intuitive operation of the KNX functions with visualisation. Available in the 63 Les Couleurs® Le Corbusier colours as well as genuine metal versions. For every frame colour, the fitting background colour is stored in the user interface – which can be later changed. The LS Touch is also available in the LS Zero range and has multiple design possibilities with a total of 72 finishes.
