As marvelous as it is, the technology itself is not so newsworthy as the effect it can have on far-reaching issues, such as sustainable construction methods, energy targets, inclusion and assisted living facilities. The comfort, convenience, security and safety a well designed future-proofed services installation can have on the lives of the building occupants as well as the wider community are immense.
