KNX UK Member Ryan Sheppard of KNX Ireland will be demonstrating live at the Self Build Show, Belfast 7 – 9 October. A keen advocate of the open protocol, Ryan will be joined by Martin Hawley of JUNG and Melvyn Ali of Lithe Audio.
Ever keen to increase awareness of the open protocol, the team will be demonstrating KNX, the concept, uses and their unique take on creating almost endless solutions to the ever-changing world of building automation.
Martin will be demonstrating the JUNG range of products including both KNX and 240V Wiring Accessories (Light Switches, Sockets, etc…). Melvyn will be demonstrating the Lithe Audio range of PRO Speakers & Sub-Woofer and also featuring their KNX Gateway.
The entire stand has been built to be interactive featuring: Roller Blind Control, Switching and Dimming of Lights, Switch of Power Circuits (Sockets) and DMX Lighting Control (RGB). All of these features can be controlled by exhibition visitors via a control board which will feature: a Gira 7” IP Tablet, JUNG F50 Switch and a JUNG F40 Switch there will also be products featured from Theben and many more.
Far more than a simple information stand, this is going to be the one to visit – find them in Hall 2. Talking to these professionals will be invaluable, but the added benefit of using the equipment and seeing how it works first hand is essential to understanding the value of this technology.
