KNX UK Manufacturer Board Member Candidate 2026

Please tell us about your experience with KNX.
I have experience systems over the past 15 years or so, as an integrator and now from the manufacturing side of things.

How you would like to contribute to the continuing development of the Association?
Being an avid follower of the integration sector , and having been involved in this sector for over 20 years. I would like to see it grow and flourish, and get the younger people of the world to join it, and thus see it grow and prosper more.

Why should members vote for you?
I would like to think I am a strong communicator, with the ability to listen to others and then give an objective balance view. I always pride myself on giving an answer either right or wrong, if its wrong then it’s a hands up, I don’t shy away from it. As mentioned before I have been involved with the sector for a longtime, and with current employer through development of our own KNX product.”

KNX UK Manufacturer Board Member Candidate 2026

Please tell us about your experience with KNX.
I’ve spent over a decade in the KNX world, flying the flag for a manufacturer that lives and breathes smart building intelligence. Over the years I’ve introduced KNX to everyone from curious end users to large commercial clients, helping them see how it can transform a building from “just functional” to genuinely intelligent. My work spans occupancy‑driven control, air‑quality strategies, and the wider connected‑building ecosystem—always with the aim of showing that KNX isn’t just a protocol, it’s the quiet genius behind a building that actually thinks.

How you would like to contribute to the continuing development of the Association?
I want to help the Association stay sharp and visible by bringing a manufacturer’s real‑world perspective to the table. My focus is on clearer messaging, stronger industry engagement, and championing KNX as the go‑to standard for intelligent buildings. In short: I’m here to help us make more noise, build more momentum, and keep KNX firmly in the spotlight.

Why should members vote for you?
During my time on the Board, I’ve been actively involved in the Membership Recruitment & Engagement Group, helping shape how we attract, support, and retain members. I’ve also explored new digital spaces—such as the KNX subreddit—to understand how the wider community engages with KNX and how the Association can better position itself in those conversations. My focus has been on strengthening visibility, improving engagement, and making sure KNX UK stays connected to both established professionals and the next wave of smart‑building enthusiasts.
