Longstanding KNX UK Member My KNX Store have recently announced an exciting rebrand to My KNX.

My KNX commented that this rebrand has been chosen to better highlight the diversity of what their business has to offer and builds on their success as a KNX distributor, training academy and service provider to a wide network of KNX professionals throughout the UK and abroad. The new name reflects who they are today, more than a store.

From project consultations to specialist solutions, training and technical expertise, My KNX’s experienced team work closely with their partners to ensure tailored control specifications are deployed on every project.

A fresh look, but the same commitment to providing the UK market with industry-leading KNX solutions.

Over a decade of growth and transformation

“When I look back over the past thirteen years, I take great pride in seeing the company evolve and grow to be a recognised KNX specialist known for strong customer service, system training and reliable technical support” says Paul Kinghorn, General Manager. “During that time we have supported countless prestigious projects across the residential, commercial, hospitality, marine and assisted living sectors, building long-standing partnerships with our key supply partners and valued client base along the way. Our rebrand brings us more inline with the services we offer the market and we look forward to supporting the KNX UK community for many more years to come”.

Benefits of the KNX Community

One constant throughout this journey has been involvement in the KNX community. This industry thrives because of collaboration, from manufacturers and distributors to integrators, engineers and educators alike, all working together to push open-protocol building control forward.

Paul and his team have been staunch supporters of the KNX UK National Group for many years and have supported new initiatives, sponsorships and collaborations with passion and consistency to the benefit of all members.

Paul continued “Through our training academy centre, events, working groups and partnerships, we’ve been able to forge valuable alliances, share knowledge, expand our technical insight, widened our network and ensured we remain aligned with the highest standards of KNX practice.”

Their commitment to the community has never been simply about visibility; it has been about shared progress. Paul explained that “by supporting integrators, promoting best practice and championing the benefits of open, future-proof building control, we’ve helped strengthen the ecosystem in which we have invested so much of our time. This applies to our work as active members of KNX UK and is also echoed by the community we have built within our own business and this shared principle remains at the heart of who we are.”

Building Partnerships, Skills and Experiences

Kit Holmes, Sales & Marketing Manager shares “As my role has developed over the last 7 years I’ve had the privilege of establishing trusted connections with our client base, attend international trade shows, host visits to our supply partners and work on some award winning building control projects throughout the UK and abroad.

These experiences have been invaluable and have given us early insights into emerging technologies and be ahead of the curve for building control trends across varying sectors. Most importantly, they’ve reinforced the importance of people, that our success comes from the combination of skilled engineers, committed partners and customers who trust us with their most ambitious projects.

At My KNX our team is comprised of many longstanding members, some of which holding positions for more than a decade. This is a credit to the company ethos Paul has created and an essential part of the service and consistency we offer the market. This goes hand in hand with the longstanding partnership we have with the KNX UK community who play a vital role in expanding market awareness”.
