Whilst not held in the UK, Light & Building is a huge event for many of our UK members and is a natural home for the only worldwide standard in home and buildings controls.
Held at the beginning March at Messe Frankfurt, the show brings together the forefront of lighting and building automation technologies. Among the innovations showcased, KNX, the global standard for home and building control, stood out prominently:
- Unveiled the first KNX IoT devices and solutions, demonstrating continuous KNX innovation.
- Integrated the newest KNX Energy Management applications, further positioning KNX role as industry leader in sustainability.
- Configured everything with the latest version of our professional tool: ETS 6.2.

- One sustainable stand, we crafted a booth with recycled materials and an eco-conscious design
- 4 Locations to find KNX: KNX Association, KNX Professionals, KNX National Group Germany and the showroom of eHouse
- 25 co-exhibitors, our KNX Members presenting their latest innovations together with us at the KNX Booth
- 140+ KNX Members had their own booth in different halls at the fairground.
- Hundreds of people participated at our games and championship.
- 3.000+ people registered to visit KNX during Light+Building
Leading KNX manufacturers unveiling groundbreaking solutions for both commercial and residential applications.
Technical seminars and workshops led by KNX experts provided valuable insights into the latest developments, with a particular focus on the evolution of the ETS (Engineering Tool Software).
Among the 140 KNX manufacturers that showcased their innovations at Light + Building, KNX UK members Schneider Electric, Gira, HMS Networks, MDT Technologies, B.E.G Luxomat, Siemens, Steinel, Theben, JUNG and Zennio exhibited. It was great to witness these members of the KNX UK community at the forefront of product development, contributing significantly to the advancement of the industry and empowering businesses and individuals to create smarter, more sustainable environments.
