Last week, the Integrated Systems Europe (ISE) event took place in Barcelona, igniting excitement among the audiovisual and systems integration industry.
ISE is The largest gathering of its kind globally, and this year marked a significant milestone as it celebrated its 20th anniversary by drawing a staggering 73,891 attendees from 162 countries.

And from Chris Pereira, Account Manager at Ivory Egg, came this statement: “We had so much support from our integrators, manufacturers, and members. It really felt like we made an impact on the AV community at ISE.”
KNX Association also played a role in driving the conversation at the conference program. Franz Kammerl, President of KNX Association, delivered two thought-provoking sessions, including one with Mark Warburton, CEO of the Ivory Egg Group. Their session explored how home automation solutions seamlessly integrate with KNX, creating enhanced experiences for customers and more profitable opportunities for technology integrators.

For Faradite, it proved to be an exceptional week. Matt Emberson, their Sales and Marketing Director, commented, “ISE 2024 was a fantastic week for Faradite. We received tremendous feedback for our KNX keypad range.”
An additional highlight for Faradite was the news that their stand had been shortlisted for the Stand Design Award, joining an elite group of 10 finalists. Though they ultimately did not secure the top prize, the acknowledgment was a testament to the substantial effort invested in their stand design.
For KNX UK’s manufacturing members the highlight was the confirmation of the international reach of their solutions. While Amit Ravat, Co-founder and Director of Lithe Audio was pleased to report that “Both KNX installers and homeowners were impressed with the ease of installation and user-friendly design of their audio system solutions.”
Other KNX UK members participated in the event to connect with customers and suppliers, ensuring their active engagement in the proceedings.
Paul Kinghorn, My KNX Store, reflected on the significance of KNX’s presence, stating, “ISE is one of the highlights in the year for My KNX Store and it’s great to see KNX yet again have such a strong presence as a flagship sponsor. What sometimes isn’t proportionally represented is the scale of the KNX control platform and the solutions it offers, something which is unparalleled when compared to single-branded systems. Seeing KNX, and its leading manufacturers, collectively unite on the global stage is fantastic for the market”.
ISE 2024 illustrated the collaborative spirit in the industry and the strong significance of the KNX open protocol on the global stage.
