Chelsea Town House,

Integrator :  Mosaic AV  -

Category :  Residential

A comprehensive redevelopment of an existing Chelsea town house, including rear extension and a double basement. The developer had been using conventional controls for heating and air-conditioning on previous projects and had encountered problematic end-user experiences. This time they had a desire to make control of this high-specification property as simple as possible.

The requirement was to integrate door entry, lighting, heating, heat recovery and air-conditioning, and provide a comprehensive network and AV infrastructure that an occupier could use from day one and have expansion possibilities.

Keypads were chosen to complement the aesthetics of the interior design with a operating unit on each floor for door entry and overall building control. The majority of KNX hardware was split between three panels, with small ancillary panels by each heating manifold.
